Lion and The Mouse Story for Kids
A wise old lion by the name of Simba once roamed a wide African Savannah. All the animals in the land revered and feared him because of his legendary knowledge and justice.
One day, a little mouse raced past as Simba was outside having his midday snooze. He observed as it fought to escape a hunter's trap after catching his attention.
Simba, who felt bad for the mouse, used his strong paw for ripping out the trap and liberate the rodent. The mouse thanked Simba for his assistance and hurried off.
After a few days, Simba was in a precarious position. A pack of hunters trapped him because he was unable to flee. Just as the hunters were about to capture him, the mouse appeared. It had brought a group of its friends, and together, they gnawed through the ropes that held the trap in place, freeing Simba.
Simba was overwhelmed by the mouse's bravery and thanked it profusely. "You may be small, but your help was invaluable," Simba said.
