The best way to help an online learner succeed is getting him motivated enough to carry with his work successfully. It might be difficult initially but with proper guidance, motivation and teaching on how to be independent can do wonders. We are tend to learn in schools and following the same routine for years and a sudden gradual change is strong enough to get his confidence and motivation low. Teaching independence is very important because you will not be there always to assist him. An online learning experience might be new for your child especially in this time when all of a sudden he has to continue with his learning from home. Though the work space might be private, assisting your child when you find him struggling with something is very important. Let him try initially but also guide him through this new learning experience.
